If you’re interested in environmental issues and keen to make a positive impact, the Green Impact auditing process is for you!
Over the past few months, staff and students throughout the University have been making their departments more environmentally friendly by completing actions in the Green Impact online workbook.
The workbook has different achievement levels of Bronze, Silver and Gold and it is the role of student auditors to visit departments and determine their level of achievement.
The auditing process will take place on the 17th and 18th of March 2015. We are looking for volunteer auditors to visit different departments throughout the University to conduct environmental audits.
You’ll need to be available from 09:30 on your chosen day. You will be fully trained on the audit criteria in the morning of your chosen day. The training session is approved by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
You will gain the skills and knowledge associated with auditing a professional department, which could improve your CV with valuable employability skills.

You don’t need any technical knowledge to apply as full training will be provided. All you need is enthusiasm and an interest in environmental issues or auditing!
You’ll also get snacks!
Auditing will take place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th March 2015 and you will need to be available for one full day. This day will comprise an IEMA approved training session from 09:30 to 12:00 when we will break for lunch. Audits will then be carried out between 13:00 and 16:30.
If you have a commitment in the afternoon and cannot stay for the whole auditing period, please let us know.
