SusSEd 2018 – The Story of Sustainable Food

Welcome back after the Christmas break! I hope it’s been a nice, restful one.

I’ve been busy scheduling this year’s SusSEd talks that will focus on The Story of Sustainable Food. The talks will follow the story from farm to fork to landfill, presenting the problems we face in ensuring food security at a time when population is expanding, food waste is increasing, climate is changing and finite resources are depleting. The talks will also highlight some solutions and aim to empower staff and students with the knowledge to make a difference.
